New Moon Tunes
You can’t give what you don’t have
You can’t give what you don’t have
You can’t give what you don’t have
So fill me up, fill me up
So set a fire down in my soul
that I can’t contain and I control
I want more of You, God
I want more of You, God
There’s no place I would rather be
No place I would rather be
No placeI would rather be
But here in Your love
I want more, I want more…
So won’t you pour it out
I tried to run, I tried to hide
But my heart burns
It burns with Your fire
Love of God overflow
Permeate all my soul
It’s all because of You Jesus
It’s all because of You Jesus
It’s all because of Your love that my soul will live
And it’s all because of You, Jesus
It’s all because of You, Jesus
It’s all because of Your love that my soul will live
All to be like You
Give all I have just to know You
Jesus, there’s no one besides You
Forever the hope in my heart
Brick Prayer
Breathe slowly. Become aware of what your five senses are percieving. What are hearing, smelling, touching, tasting, and seeing?
Take a brick and turn it upside down. Meditate on the empty spaces underneath the brick. These spaces represent the space inside of you.
What has been filling this space in your heart, mind, and emotions lately?
Are there things that need to be removed from that space? In conversation with God, begin to name and let go of those things until the space inside of you is at peace. Exhale deeply as you release things from your space.
Receive
Now that you’ve made space, begin to receive more of God as he fills every nook and cranny of your heart, mind, and emotions. You don’t have to do anything special – no hoop to jump through, no frenzy to work in to. It brings God great pleasure to fill you with more of him. Gently receive this good gift from the Father.
You can’t give what you don’t have.
How are we supposed to share the incredible love of Jesus with the beautiful people we meet tonight?
Allow God to overflow from the deep places of your heart.
This is the way of divine love. Flowing from one humble recipient to another.
A final symbol.
Take the brick and add it to the communal brick structure – you pick where!
Take the water and begin to pour it into your brick. As the water fills the brick, imagine and feel God filling you afresh with himself.
As the water overflows from your brick, imagine the love of God overflowing onto the beautiful people you’re about to meet.
Take some time to pray and ask God for encounters with the right people – people who need love.
Ask for God to give you right the words to say or actions to take when you meet them.
And ultimately, ask for divine love to be poured out in miraculous ways.

“We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment.”
– Paul of Tarsus, 62 AD
